More than two decades ago a radical woman smuggled money across borders and into the hands of women leading change. In doing so she birthed a movement. Today there are hundreds of feminist philanthropies around the world, but Urgent Action Fund was one of the first. We followed its leaders around the world to document what it looks like when women control wealth. The resulting documentary tells the founding story of UAF and explores how a group of bold women from disparate corners of the globe have come together to disrupt philanthropy.
